A Reason To Smile

Hello all!!
I am back with my third card from the stamp club!  This card was CASE'D from my fabulous upline!  I just love the bright colours of this card!  Another beautiful thing about this card is the stamp set that I used "Reason to Smile," is a current promotion with Stampin' Up!  When you spend $60 on any current merchandise or clearance rack items, you can buy this stamp set for $5!!  what a deal!  This stamp set is so beautiful and it is a two step stamping set!!  Two step stampin' is like getting three stamp sets in one!  You can use just the outline, just the inside, or both together!  Anyways, this is the card!  Its hard to tell, but in the center of each of the flowers, I used a bit of dazzling details to add a bit of pop to the flowers!
Recipe:
Stamp Sets: A Reason to Smile, Friendly Phrases.
Ink: Daffocil Delight, Tangerine tango, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Basic Black.
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Tangerine tango, First Edition DSP, Whisper White.
Embellishments: 1/4" Stitched grosgrain Daffodil Delight, Dazzling Details.
Tools: Simply Scored, SNAIL, Sticky Strip.

Thanks for checking out my cards for my first club night.  I have a Scrapbook Club night coming up, so I hope to be back with a posting about how that night went and to show off the layouts that we made!!  I am making two of each layouts (one for each of my daughters), so I have made them both a bit different (with the same supplies), and then hopefully I will be able to take some pics of one of the ladies boys layouts!!  So come back and check out those projects too!  Thanks for checking me out today!!!

Occasions Alphabet

Hello again,
I am on a roll here for posting!  I have had a hard time posting as of late, due to the craziness of a new baby, but I have been trying to make a real effort to get back into it.  Hopefully I'll be more into crafting shortly also.  The basement development that we have been working dilligently on (for ten months, doing ourselves) is going to be coming to a close this week!!  woo hoo!!  I can finally have my stampin' room back!!  I had to clear it out to make room for our second daughter back in May, so all my stuff has been in boxes since!!  It's hard to be motivated to be scrappin and stampin' when everytime I turn around the next thing I need is at the bottom of yet another box!!  ha ha ha...All that will come to an end this coming week!  Hopefully I can be moved into my new room ASAP!!!
Anyways, I am complaining!! ha ha ha...no more! As promised I am back with the second card from my stamp club! This was inspired by a card that I saw on Stampin' Connection. This awesome demonstrator only forum - access is granted when joining the Stampin' Up! Community and becoming a demonstrator. Awesome forum to get inspiration for all things Stampin' Up! (Scrapbooking, Home Decor, Cards, fabric, etc). Anyways, without further ado, here is the card:
Recipe:
Stamps: Circle Circus, Occasions Alphabet.
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Naturals Confetti, Baja Breeze.
Ink: Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Crumb Cake.
Tools: Simply Scored, SNAIL, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Sponge, Decorative Label Punch, Scallop Oval Punch,  Adorning Accents Embossing Folder (hearts), Big Shot.
Embellishments: Baja Breeze Seam Binding.

The beautiful thing about this card, when you do it for a workshop/club night, it is easy to convert the card from baby boy to baby girl.  Just have the to inks available (pink instead of blue), some pink and blue scrap paper for the punching, and two different options for the ribbon embellishment. It comes at no extra cost for preparing the card packages.  Nothing is wasted if it isn't made, and your guest has the opportunity to make it according to their needs!!  The other thing about thsi card, is that becuase of the ambiguousness of the card front, the guest can tailor it even more by using a different sentiment to transform the card into a birthday card or thank you card or something like that!
For more information on thie card, and how to get the supplies needed to make this card, email me for more information or visit my Stampin' Up! website: brennaanderson.stampinup.net.
Thanks for checking me out again!!   Looking forward to coming back for the final card from my card club night!

Stamparama Stamp Club

So, I have started my first stamp club!  I have been busy planning and planning for this for a while.  I have known that I wanted to have a Card stamping club for a while, but it has been bad timing with having a baby and all!  ha ha ha...I finally feel as if I'm ready and can handle having a bunch of ladies over to do some stamping and card creating!!  So on monday i had some ladies over and we made three cards together!  This is the first of three that we made!
Recipe:
Stamps: Mixed Bunch, Perfectly Penned
Cardstock: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight.
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green
Tools: 1" Circle Punch, Blossom Punch, Simply Scored, Paper Snips, Sticky Strip, SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals
Embellishments: 3/8" Stitched Satin in Gumball Green.

This is a very simple card to make and is made relatively fast, even for beginners.  most of my ladies are beginner stampers who I am trying to convert into crafters!!  ha ha ha...they are all crafty, but have never really done that much paper crafting!  Looking forward to more meetings with them, and hopefully meeting some new people also!  I will be back in a few more days to show you card #2 of the three that we made!  For more information on how to make this card, or how to get the supplies, please contact me!  I am more than happy to help!!  Thanks for looking!

Debut of Scrapbook Club!

Hi!
So we had our first evening of scrapbook club last week! It was a blast!! I had a great time chatting and scrapping with the ladies! My daughter was the only newborn there this time...but I'm thinking next time there is going to be a few babies more present, 3 or 4!!
This is the layout that we made. I made the girl version, and I actually made two of them becuase I wanted my girls to have matching 1st yr scrapbooks, ha ha ha...I will be giving my mom the originial 1 yr scrapbook I had made for Paisley I think...not sure what I'll do yet!! The layout is the same (whether you have a boy or girl), the only difference is is anything that is in Blushing Bride was in Baha Breeze for the boys.

Recipe:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Blushing Bride, (Baha Breeze), Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, In Colour (Blushing Bride) Patterns Paper Stack, (Baha Breeze Patterns Paper Stack).
Ink: Soft Suede
Stamp Set: Baby Prints
Tools: Paper Doily Sizzlit Die, Ribbon Lace Border Punch, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Timeless Type Junior Sizzlits Die, Big Shot, Paper Trimmer.
Embellishments: Twitterpated Designer Buttons in Blushing Bride (Baha Breeze), 3/8" Pleated Satin Ribbon in Blushing Bride (Baha Breeze).
Adhesives: SNAIL, Sticky Strip, 2 Way Glue Pen, Glue Dots.
This layout was inspired by a fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator. Thanks for the inspiration!
